Abstract
Bapsi Sidhwa is one of the most well-known female English authors. Her stories are a one-of-a-kind ode to women's desire for independence. She added a new depth to feminist awareness as an activist. She is a passionate supporter of women. She uses her writing skills to assist people to become more aware of their rights. The battle for existence in Sidhwa's The Pakistani Bride is the subject of this study. Its goal is to look at women's marginalisation and survival struggles. The story sheds light on how women are treated in patriarchal societies.
